Investors who’ve outgrown plain mutual funds and want more portfolio flexibility, with at least ₹10 lakh to commit.
Specialized Investment Funds (SIF) are a category SEBI introduced in 2025 to sit between traditional mutual funds and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) — offering strategies with more flexibility than a mutual fund (including hedging, derivatives exposure and long-short positioning) while remaining a pooled, regulated vehicle. SIF strategies require a minimum investment of ₹10 lakh across all SIF strategies at the PAN level (this threshold does not apply to accredited investors), and can only be sold by distributors holding the relevant SEBI/NISM certification.

Sold only by distributors holding the required SEBI/NISM certification — which we hold.
Strategies can use hedging, derivatives (up to prescribed limits) and long-short positioning.
Every SIF strategy carries a 5-band risk categorisation, reviewed monthly, disclosed in its Investment Strategy Information Document.
