KM Investment (Kambu Prasad Mishra, ARN-125171) is an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor and SIF Distributor. When you invest in a regular plan of a mutual fund scheme through us, the Asset Management Company (AMC) pays us a commission for the distribution service — this commission is not deducted separately from your investment amount, and you do not pay us an advisory fee.
Commission is paid to us by the AMC out of the scheme’s expense ratio — a cost already built into how the scheme’s Net Asset Value (NAV) is calculated, and disclosed by every AMC in its Scheme Information Document. It is not an additional, separate charge to you beyond what is already reflected in the scheme’s stated expense ratio.
Commission structures vary by AMC, by scheme category (equity, debt, hybrid, etc.) and by whether the payout is an upfront amount, a trail (an ongoing percentage of assets, paid periodically for as long as you stay invested), or a combination of both, within limits prescribed by SEBI and AMFI from time to time. Because these rates change periodically and vary scheme to scheme, we do not publish a single fixed number here; exact, current commission applicable to any specific scheme is available on request.
